When opening a TurboLaw document, a message will appear that warns you that TurboLaw is not installed on your computer and that the Save and Print functions will be disabled.
Further, if you try to print or save the document, a message will appear saying that TurboLaw is not installed. The program will then not allow you to print or save.
This behavior will occur even though TurboLaw is actually installed on the computer. This problem only occurs if certain versions of Kaspersky Anti-Virus are installed on the computer. This Anti-Virus program has macro-blocking options which prevent TurboLaw documents from functioning properly.
To resolve this problem, open Kaspersky Anti-Virus and click on Settings. Then, click on the Macro tab. Scroll down through the list of options until you find the entry labeled Block API Access. Change this setting from Blocked to Allow, and click OK to apply the changes. (You will have to close and re-open any documents for the changes to take effect.)
Once this setting is turned off, TurboLaw documents will function properly.
